The removable Bluetooth keyboard is easy to use, and easy to carry.
Gary Marrero
This keyboard is well made - I like the response from the keys while I'm typing and they are more spaced out, so it feels more like a normal keyboard.
Sally
I bought this item a couple weeks ago but had an item almost identical to this that I used for a few months before purchasing this.

The case is great in feel and construction. The keyboard can be removed to lighten the overall package, type on a different surface or charge it while still using the Nexus 7. It is held in place magnetically. The Nexus 7 fits in the case very nice and the case can be folded back on itself for on handed operation. The keyboard has nice feedback and is easy to use, even with large hands. Touch typing with large hands requires the use of only three fingers on each hand as full touch typing is pretty tight. This is to be expected on a smaller keyboard. Overall good product and value.

The keyboard/case arrived ahead of schedule and was well packaged.

The size of the unit is 6 1/8"x8 3/8"x1 1/4" with keyboard and Nexus installed. There is a small 'rest area' for one's hands that measures 8 1/4x1 1/4 inches. This area also holds the Off/On/Connect switch. The unit is, perhaps, comparable to a "Day Planner" notebook with 3 months of daily planning sheets installed. The 'latch' that holds the unit closed is a very snug fit and does a good job of keeping the case closed. It could, perhaps, be a bit narrower at the leading edge which would make entry of the latch into the slot easier. I imagine that the slot will loosen a bit with use. The case does not 'seal' the Nexus - it is open on three edges so one should be aware while carrying in inclement weather lest rain/snow enter.

As noted in other reviews the keys are diminutive, but I find that touch typing is possible after a bit of practice. Of course that will vary for individuals based on hand size and typing skills. For instance the " marks require that the Fn key be pressed simultaneously with the :; key. Some time must be allowed for in getting used to the keyboard. The keyboard surface measures 7 1/2x3 1/4 inches.

The keyboard is attached magnetically to the case and can be removed) and used at some distance from the Nexus 7 (as I am doing while writing this review. This allows for more flexibility in placing the screen further from the screen as opposed to keeping the keyboard right next to the screen in the case. Of course if one's space is limited having the keyboard in the case is a valuable option to have as well.

i ordered 2 of these for the Nexus 7's that my wife and i surprised each other for Xmas 2012. mine is excellent with no issues or problems. being a big guy with big fingers i didnt expect a keyboard that was like my laptop. i just wanted one to use so i didnt have to keep touching the screen. this was perfect especially for the price. I really like removing the keyboard from the case and it still works (perfect for reading and scrolling thru documents.)

My wife waited a while to setup hers (which was extremly simple by the way.) After 1 trip to work she came home and the #5 key had fallen off. AFTER ONLY ONE DAY!?!?!? SHE SAID THAT SHE ONLY TOUCHED IT ONCE!!!!! On the floor was the 5 key. We are sending hers back and waiting to decide to order another or try a different brand. not an easy decision as she actually likes hers (even with no #5 key.)

Functionality wise, this is a fantastic keyboard case. The leather case is attractive and feels nice. It's small and compact but big enough to get work done or type a long email if you need to. Pair it up with a mouse and you have a pretty good functioning machine if you need it. It also provides excellent protection and I imagine absorbs shock very well. Also, it does not cover up any cameras or buttons. The kickstand is nice and the detachable keyboard can be very handy.

The keyboard has excellent response with my 2nd gen Nexus 7, no delay or lag in keystrokes, which I have experienced with my iPad keyboard and it can be quite annoying.

The keys are big enough for me. Maybe could be too small for someone with very large hands. The response is good though and they are hard keys so you don't have to push down too hard. I can type out nice long emails in gmail without a problem.

The battery so far is as advertised. I imagine this thing will last quite a long time, but time will tell for that.

If you don't see an update from me in a few months or so, that means it didn't break and still works great.

I have to say, that when I received this case as quick as I did, I was expecting just another case. I've seen a lot of cases and sold a lot of them too...but I had no idea that this would be as nice and functional as it is.

The outside of the case is "PU Leather" which is not leather at all. It cleans well and is nice and shiny, which is what I want the case to look like...so that's a win. There's a good place for a stylus on top of the unit, and it's not blocking anything...another plus. The bluetooth keyboard is light and quick to charge. Learning to type on it is another skill to learn, but after a week I've become much better at it.

All in all, a definite win for a Nexus owner. I'm going to recommend to my company (PCM.com) to get this case to sell to our corporate clients.

-----

Edit. After the keyboard crapped out and stopped functioning 2 months after the purchase, I contacted MiniSuit about replacing it because I never damaged it...the top row of keys stopped working. They grudgingly agreed to replace it and sent me their newest model. OMG this is HORRIBLE! The keys are half the size, there are useless keys (A search key? REALLY?) on the keyboard that were all FN keys before (and that worked thank you)...AND it doesn't hold a charge.

You're better off going with a model that will fit fingers that aren't anything over a 12 year old girl's size. I don't recommend this, and suggest that you stay away from their products.
