This trolling motor is exactly what my mini pontoon boat needed. It gets me across the lake fast, and so far I've had no problems with it. I would definitely advise others to purchase one. After searching the net, I got a great deal on Amazon. com. Thanks

This incredible motor, with it's 55 thrust is very powerful. I use it on a 15' canoe and it can cut through the choppiest of waters. I'm positive when I hook it up to a jon-boat next year there will be no problems with power.

Bought this to go on a jon boat purchased for our grandsons. It is everything that it was stated to be and they are enjoying it.

Minn Kota is the premier maker of trolling motors. This 55 pound thrust motor pushes my 46 Pen Yan cartopper pretty fast. Up to 6-8 knots. I highly reccomend Minn Kota if you are in the market for such a electric trolling motor for your boat.

I purchased this trolling last year to get my aluminum boat throught a swamp when the river rises, but the very first time I used it, the weedless prop hit something under the water and bent the prop shaft making it vibrate badly...It goes through weeds great, but stay away from areas with sticks and logs.
Another issue I had with this product was that the weedless prop made this trolling motor push the boat slower than smaller thrust trolling motors I've used in the past. I'd love to try replacing the prop, but it doesn't appear that there is a power prop replacement for the Eudura 55 model.

This thing worked great running my 17' run about. I used two deep cycle batteries in case one went down (which it did after two hours)....

Anyways, launching my friend turned it around and ran into the trailer with the propeller and rocks and cements and there are only little scratches on what I was sure would have been destroyed. GREAT durability!
