I have used these in the past for use with my trolling motors. However, this year I realized how handy they are for use with my travel trailer. As a result, I bought another for me and some for family and friends who have trailers. The device not only lists the voltage but it gives an idea of the amount of charge left. This is very helpful when you are trolling but it is also helpful so that I know how much time I have before my trailer battery needs to be charged. It isn't fun to run out of juice in the middle of a cold night and not have the furnace work in the trailer.

It's easy to use and simple, the downfall is that I expected something that could be attached to the battery and keep a constant reading of the power remaining. However I'm very pleased for what I paid.

this is an great product. really good priced and really easy to used. just as desribed in descrition. one side too one end and the other side to the other and you have the reading. sweet.

I keep several batteries on charger for camping--so I keep the Minn Kota Meter handy to check the charge both at home and while camping. I do not like surprises at 3 am while it is raining. Handy, convenient and priced right.

I bought this because my battery tender told me my battery voltage was to low. Battery did not even register on this meter. I bought a new battery and meter showed it had a full charge. This is a nice compact meter.

This product works great, I had one last year that was purchased from Cabela's...but I stupidly left it in the bottom of the battery case (w/ battery) and the wires corroded.

I would recommend this to my family and friends!

It worked great for 8 years and I used it to test all of my 12 volt batteries. Recently the wire came loose and eventually broke off the end. I opened it up and found the wire had only been glue to the circuit board. I recommend handling the meter with care and not over stretching the wire. I would still recommend minn kota meters.. Just wish they were a bit cheaper and better made.

I've used minn-kota for years ,this is my second- I had good years of service on these units. Helped one of my friends purchase a unit on amazon. Good to carry on boat for testing battery.

bought this for my trolling motor battery i ended up using it with every 12v battery that i have i'm happy with this product the only reason i gave it 3 stars is that the negative wire is too short wish they made it longer . but for a battery meter it does the job and you will always know how much power there is left in your battery.

Exactly what I was looking for. No more days of dead batteries while out fishing.
