I could not get my motor mounted on my boat because of the way the top deck slopes down to the rubrail, once I pushed it out far enough to be able to drop the motor into operating position I could only get the 2 rear bolts in the flat part of the top deck.

I turned the bracket around backwards, redrilled the holes, and it works just fine and when I travel I can remove the motor in less that 5 seconds with NO tools, and even standing on the ground beside the trailer, and then take it in the motel room with me.

Great functionality and security.
