I was so thrilled to get the opportunity to read another book by Brenda Coulter! Her debut book Finding Hope(2003) hooked me on her writing. She has 3 other books in the Love Inspired series. I downloaded this e-book yesterday and finished reading it today. I loved it!
The edgy character Rock Star hero of the book is called Jeb (his initials) by his one true friend, Laney, a very caring and giving young lady. They have been apart for 16 years and have had limited contact over this time period. Jeb returns to his hometown in Minnesota and reconnects with Laney. They have a true friendship, not a romantic relationship just yet. However, over the pages of the book you will find yourself sighing, crying, and smiling as their journey through life strengthens each one's spiritual growth and they discover just how much they mean to each other. Throw in Laney's adorable but eccentric match-making great aunts and many moments of humor keep you smiling. This reader is definitely looking forward to see what romance the Three Graces will encourage next! Download this book at a terrific price for several hours of clean Christian inspirational reading pleasure. A book you can share with your Mother and daughter without hesitation. Author Brenda Coulter has done it again. "Her Minnesota Man" is a heartfelt story that kept me hooked from Chapter 1. Laney and Jeb's love story made me laugh and cry. Brenda is a master storyteller, she has a gift for romance writing, and she writes with a Christian background in her books, which makes them even better. I loved her first book "Finding Hope", and have read all of her subsequent Love Inspired titles. This particular book is her first foray into self publishing, and it is a home-run. Well done, Ms. Coulter. Can't wait to read your next novel about the three Graces!

I loved this story. I loved the way Laney kept loving Jeb through his rough patches and forgetfulness. It is a realistic love story. One of love- the real, hard choices, sacrificial, warts and all sort of love. I loved Jeb. He wasn't quite a 'bad boy' because his heart shone through on every page. Charming, sexy, oh and did I mention he plays in a band.

A great story, I highly recommend you buy it! :)
