Nice look but poor playing surface,

The table is good looking and cheap but unfortunately the playing surface is terribly bad. The 18 mm Slatecore is not thick enough, it bends ,making the table completely uneven (and impossible to level) and frustrating to play. Spend a little more money and go for real slate that will give you a flat surface (like the Minnesota Fats Vegas 8 ft Pool Table).
The cloth is also pretty bad, you will have to shave spots if you don't want the balls to bump on them... It's unfortunate because the banks are really good. The accessories are not great, the balls are ok, the rail brush is a joke, the cues are below average (one arrived broken in the package). I definitely do NOT recommend this product. Get a real slate pool table instead.

This table in other reviews made me kind of scared knowing that something might be wrong with it but no. It came in a lot of packaging which needed a knife to cut open all the wrapping and what not. But it was completely leveled and everything! This pool table comes with two cues, a somewhat "cheap rail brush", triangle, billiard set, and two starter chalks. It is a pain to build but well worth it! The metal corners get a little dirty one in a while but with a little time and some cloth it will be nice and shiny again! When the pool table is assembled make sure that the legs do NOT lay on the floor sideways! The legs aren't meant to be flat on the ground because if one of the legs hit the ground sideways it could crack! It is a good buy in my opinion! :D

This is a great table for our teenagers to learn the game on. The size is great and fits nicely into our basement space. It's an attractive table, was not hard to set up and has a good top on it. I was initially worried about it not being full size or a real slate top. I knew I didn't want to spend a lot of money since we are all new to the game. It has worked out great for all of us!
I would recommend this table if you have a somewhat smaller space (but it's not tiny), younger players(ours are mostly boys) and don't want to spend a fortune.
