As a former resident of Minnesota I bought this book hoping that it would give me some ideas of what to see and do in Minnesota when I come back to visit. The book is not badly put together, but in the end I sent it back for this reason: there is not a single color photo in the entire book, and the black and white pictures are very poorly reproduced. In some cases it is difficult to make out the picture at all. I have purchased many dozens of guide books to places all over the world and I have never seen one where the pictures are poor quality black and white. Unfortunately it was not possible to know this in advance as the "see inside this book" feature was not available. I must say that I did not get much past the pictures to see if the descriptions were any good. For $22 I wanted color pictures and a bit more modern layout.

be very careful when ordering this book.i borrowed an older copy from my library wich was in color(this one i would have given a 5 star rating)but the one i paid for was cheaply done in black&white.try to find an older one used (it it's worth it just for the color photos at a much more affor dable price than $21.95 wich gets a zero on my rating

It so well written and full of good information for making ones trips in Minnesota wonderful.
