I have owned a pair of these Minnetonka driving mocs for five years, during which time they have been on my feet for some period nearly every day. They are just now beginning to reach the point where I will probably replace them. The stitchings are coming loose along a few seams and one of the sole plates has begun to come apart.
I have walked many, many miles over all types of ground, as well as around the house in these mocs, and I believe their durability is amazing! I paid about $60 for my pair five years ago, so that's about $1 per month of use.
I highly recommend these mocs for driving as well. They are comfortable over long hauls and securely grip the pedals. I never travel without mine.
It is rare to find such a high quality product for such a reasonable price - cheap, even! Go ahead. Get a pair. You won't be sorry.

Sent them back for different size, December 5, 2009
I bought these from a substore of amazom, shoe buy dot com, since they had a better price with bing cashback. The shoes arrived and appeared to be very well made. I just wanted a pair of slippers to wear around my house and was tired of the cheap ones wearing out in a year. I just burned through a pair of LL Beans gumshoe mics in less than a year and the soles became so slick I would slide around on the smallest spot of water on the floor. I needed a heavier sole that could make the long morning trip to the mailbox, trash cans, etc. and these looked perfect.
As soon as I saw them I knew they were to narrow. Not just snug, but so tight I thought they might be an 8 instead of the 10 I ordered. The left one was at least a 1/2 wider than the right, which felt like I was trying on my wife's size 6 shoes. My foot kept twisting to the side when I tried to put weight on the right foot because my sole was hanging over the treads, which are at least 1/2 thick.
I thought the construction was excellent but my wife told me they looked cheap and like they were made of plastic or vinyl. That hurt, even if they were just all purpose slippers. Anyway, I put her in her place and decided to act like a man and make up my own mind. (just kidding ladies)
I wore the shoes for two days to see if they would stretch out. I wore them at least 13 hours each day. They didn't budge and I thought I would twist my ankle before the weekend was over.
On Monday I sent them back and asked for 10.5 wide if available, then a 10.5 medium, then a 10 wide. If nothing was available, just refund the money and I'll go my own way. I'll update once I receive the new pair.
To those thinking about ordering, my final thoughts:
These shoes are well made, look exactly like the picture, color is true and look like they would last for years. They run at least a size too small, both length and width. Oder one size up and you might be pleased. I have slightly wide feet but have never had problems with any shoes but Reebok and Rockport, which also seem to run narrow, but not THIS narrow.

Comfortable for Home and Driving, August 3, 2011
Very pleased with these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box and perfect for casual wear around the house and for driving on long trips. I did follow the advice of other buyers about sizing up, so I bought a 1/2 size larger than my normal size, they fit nicely.
