About two years ago, I bought two pairs of these moccasins--one brown and one black. I am a teacher and on my feet all day long, and I have used these as my every day shoes. They are very comfortable and, after wearing them for a little while, they become 'one' with your foot. They are a great hybrid shoe--casual without being inappropriate for the work I do, and as comfortable as if I were wearing slippers. I have worn moccasins for years, and I have had a variety of soles on them--from hard leather to raw suede. Of all of them, these hold up best--like a tennis shoe--but with exceptional flexibility. Love them. After nearly two years of wear, these two are still very comfortable--though a bit faded after their hard work. For a while, I was unable to find them again on Amazon, but now all is right with the world. I have just purchased my second set--brown and black--to go on official duty. My old ones will make a career change, taking on my gardening and painting duties with me. They are good old friends.

I took the plunge and ordered them anyways. They're extremely comfortable (best soles on moccasins ever!) and very cute (lots of compliments), but they look more like those in this secondary link. Darker color, tie laces, etc.

I ordered Minnetonka Moccasins' Suede Ankle Boot because I don't really own any other "autumn-appropriate" shoes. These shoes are perfect for the transition from fall to winter, because where I go to school in southern Minnesota the weather's become chilly but there hasn't been any snowfall yet, so I don't see the point of digging up my winter boots. These ankle boots are warm and comfortable, and the great traction on the outsoles make speedwalking across campus super easy.
Something that you should know about these boots before buying is that the sizes run a little large. I read other customer reviews that suggested ordering a half size down from your regular shoe size. I'm usually a women's size 8, so I ordered the 7.5, but when I got them and tried them on, there was still a bit of space between my toes and the front edge. But after wearing the boots around a little, I decided to keep them, because they are so comfortable and the extra space really doesn't affect the way I walk in them. I definitely would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for a casual and cute shoe for the fall.

I would have to disagree with the previous review because these shoes are amazing. I got so many compliments and they are great for cold weather. They are so comfty and go with everything.I ordered an 8.5 (which is my size) but I think I could have gone with an 8. Definately recommend them :)

I am a frequent shopper and minnetonka lover so I needed to add these to my collection. The product was exactly as described but shipping was rather slow and got delayed, it wasn't shipped directly through Amazon so that could be why.

i'm sorry this was not my cup a tea at all.In the box it looks amazing the color and everything,but once i had it on my feet it was shockingly disappointing. the bottom is way to small and narrow,therefore the bottom of my foot felt as if it was falling off the shoe in a weird way. It makes my feet looks flat,and i don't have flat feet,and when i tight the lace the front stay flat while the top portion of it looks just weird.i am really sorry for the review,i really wanted to like them, i checked for them online everyday when they were coming,could not wait to get them,it would have been a great addition to my fall collection.

Shoes are stiffer than expected. Also, the sizing is somewhat off. Returned them for credit. (did look good, tho!)
