Decent flash for the price
The flash is compact and light. When used with some manual flash power adjustment, it provides good illumination. However, when left in full auto mode with Konika Minolta Maxxum 7D , it tends to underexpose the images. Camera's built in flash actually works better when in full auto. However, with some learning and experimentation, one can achieve quite nice results...

Disappointed
Bought flash for my Maxxum 5D to use for longer, wider coverage in large rooms. Did some comparison tests against the built-in flash on the camera and the pics with the external flash weren't as well lit as the built-in. These shots were taken at about 15 feet. Haven't tried any yet at the range I bought it for, but would have expected the tests to be better.
