The Minolta Dimage E201 2.3 MP Digital Camera delivers sharp, highly detailed images with excellent color quality. With features such as a versatile built-in flash, digital zoom, video recording, and macro mode, the Dimage E201 is the ideal digital camera for both hobby and business applications. The video capabilities allow you to record up to 60 seconds of moving images in Motion JPEG (AVI) format at 15 frames per second with QVGA quality (320 x 240 pixels). In auto flash mode, you can concentrate on framing your shots, and the camera will automatically emit a flash if the scene is too dark. Alternatively, manual fill-flash allows you to set the flash whenever you need it, such as to counteract heavy backlighting during the daytime. The camera also include a red-eye feature.

Even though it's loaded with great features, including motion picture capture, the Dimage E201 is amazingly compact and lightweight. This makes it easy to carry around when you're taking a short walk or a long vacation, or going on a business trip. And whether you're using a Windows PC or a Mac, transferring images is a remarkably simple procedure if your computer is equipped with a USB connection. A clear, easy-to-see 1.8-inch color LCD monitor lets you check the look of your snapshots on the spot, and the camera provides different viewing options, such as a nine-frame index display and an automatic slide show function, and tells you the frame number and shooting mode for each shot as well. And when you want to view your images on a larger screen, you can conveniently hook up the camera for TV display.
