Compact, easy to use, and great pictures!,

I bought this camera to take on my trip to Europe. It easily fits in a waist-pouch and is very lightweight. The ability to take 3 different size photo's was a real convenience. With the Panoramic size option I was able to take a great photo of the Eiffel Tower - top to bottom! The only thing I don't like about this camera is that the 3-volt battery must be changed after about 12 rolls of film (Advantix 25 exposure) have been used. The batteries are expensive and it's a real pain to have it die while on an excursion. The film will automatically rewind when the battery is low or dead. The zoom lens is wonderful! This camera is well worth the cost for anyone who wants a point and shoot camera with all the features of a larger 35mm.

A great small camera!,

I love this little camera. For a point and shoot, it takes great pictures. Because it's so small, you can take it anywhere. Although it fits in a small purse or large pocket, I usually just wear it around my neck. I haven't always treated it well. It's more rugged than I would have imagined. For the price, you can't beat it!

Unhappy with customer service, average usage, compact,

I owned the first generation of this camera. It often took a long time holding down button before camera would shoot. Film motor broke in an unacceptably short time (3 years) and service was too expensive to make it worthwhile.

This camera has a definite space-age look to it. One of the coolest things is how the lens retracts and the door shutter closes. Doesn't mean you get better pictures, but it's cool!My one complaint is the way the red-eye reduction works. When you click the button, it goes.. flash, flash, FLASH! I've taken several pictures where the people were looking away, because they'd thought the picture was taken on the first flash, when in fact it doesn't go till the third.

This camera is great! It's really small and takes wonderful pictures. I have also tried the ELPH 2 and this camera takes better pictures. If you are looking for a stylish aps camera, the vectis 300 is the way to go.

this camera is decent with decent shots during the day. it takes horrible shots at night cuz the flash is too weak and the red eye reduction is horrible because it causes blurry pictures. stay away, aps has its limtations. get an olympus 35 mm camera

Like all APS cameras, this is inevitably compromised. However, available modes, groovy steel body and long zoom are marvelous in a shirt-pocket sized package. I bought one this year and have started taking pictures regularly for the first time in ten years!

THIS CAMERA IS REALLY GREAT. IT'S REALLY SMALL, AND I TAKE IT ANYWHERE I GO. AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS I'M HAVING A LITTLE PROBLEM WHEN I'M TAKING THE PICTURE. BUT I STILL LOVE IT.
