Minolta X-370 film camera SLR with lens

I bought this summer in my high school years, and I still have it. I mowed lawns and worked odd jobs until I saved up enough money to buy one with a 45mm lens, summer of 1987. I learned so much on this camera, such as how to control f-stops and shutter speeds, the need for a good flash, and that stacking teleconverters behind a cheap lens is a very poor replacement for a good zoom lens. This is the perfect camera for a beginner. It looks like a real camera, but isn't loaded down with so many controls and buttons that it's intimidating.
I followed Minolta later on with an X-700 and a Maxxum 7000. I was all set to step over to digital with Minolta, then they sadly stopped making cameras for consumers! How dare they. So I threw up my hands and jumped ship over to.. -ahem- Nikon. Still, I value all of the lessons I learned on this camera which continue to serve me.

I could not be any happier with my Minolta than I already am.
I love the way it looks, feels, and sounds.
I really appreciated the seller including batteries and a roll of film,
and I started taking pictures almost as soon as it arrived.
The manual I found for it online was easy to comprehend,
which makes learning film simpler.
The Minolta x-370 arrived in wonderful condition,
carefully wrapped in bubble wrap.
It is everything I wanted, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I bought this camera years ago and never had a problem with it. Gave me great snaps and is still going strong. Close ups are really nice with the right lens. I suggest this camera to those newbies for experience with a real camera. There's a big difference when you get nice clear snaps.

This camera came in fantastic condition! Thank you for packaging it so well and having all the extra's included and then some. We appreciate that the batteries were included, as well as a camera bag. The only thing missing was the camera manual, but we found one on the internet. Great and fantastic value. Hooray! and Thank you!

I first bought this camera for my photography class. I absolutely LOVED it! Took awesome pictures! Then when I was doing a wedding, the shutter kept jamming up when I would try to take a picture. Eventually it stopped altogether & stuck. But I loved this camera so I bought the exact same one since I was told the price to fix it would be the same as getting another one. And it did the same thing! Annoying! So needless to say, I'm forced to get out of my old school style & get an updated camera that I'm hoping will work better. I'm going with a DSLR though so I still have options.
