From Library Journal
Despite his book's title, Cameron, a minority business executive himself, deals primarily with life in the corporate world in general rather than with the particular needs of minority businesspeople. However, his advice on general topics such as dress and demeanor, speech and attitudes, and networking and mentoring is acute, penetrating, and to the point, and he pulls few punches in his analysis of the "dog-eat-dog" corporate environment. A special section of the text is devoted to lists of minority-oriented publications, radio stations, etc., along with relevant reference works and laws on affirmative action. Unfortunately, the lists are not very useful, given the lack of complete addresses for the entries. Nevertheless, this can find a place in general business collections.
