Get fit without leaving the home with the entry-level Minoura B60R tire-drive bicycle trainer. The B60R is outfitted with a U-shaped frame that holds your bike's rear tire firmly in place.

The trainer's mag resistance unit offers 7 resistance levels.

Once you've clamped down the hub handle, your tire will be in position to drive the trainer's resistance unit, giving you an invigorating workout every time. The B60R is made to last, with 38mm diameter steel tubing that supports up to 265 pounds. The 29mm diameter legs, meanwhile, open wide for stability, but also fold up compactly for easy storage.

The B60R's mag resistance unit coordinates with the twin disc-type 1.5-pound flywheel to create seven levels of resistance, all controllable via the remote control shifter (included) on your bike's handlebar or stem. Whether you want to ride fast and lean or simulate an uphill climb, the B60R delivers. The trainer concludes with a rustproof black ED paint finish that won't crack or fade.

I bought this here on Amazon for $144 which is definitely a good price. I don't know why it doesn't have more reviews so I'm putting one up myself, but this is definitely the one to get if you're looking to go one above the low end market for bike trainers. Works well, not too loud at all as I could easily watch tv with the volume just a little higher. My fixed gear bike is almost as loud or louder because of chain noise. The axle openings were initially too wide to fit my bianchi pista track frame so I had to go buy some extra nuts and put them on the rear axle. The settings provide a good workout, I found the #2 setting (out of 7) to be good for a 20-30 minute session as I am a little out of shape. The components are all solid and it looks like it will last a long time. I'm very happy with my purchase. Also, it came already put together and it folds to a fairly compact size.

I'm new to using one of these, and im happy with it overall. That handle bar resistance shifter is super handy, combined with the gears on my bike it give me plenty of options there. Plus it's not terribly loud, about half the sound of a vaccum cleaner. This is a good trainer for under $200. I deducted one star for the instructions being so hard to read(some youtube videos were helpful), and the cord for the remote was wraped around the Mag unit in a way you have to take it apart inorder to untange it.

the trainer was set up pretty quickly, but it took me a little trial and error to get the wheel of my bike on the roller just right. I look forward to using it as often as possible!
