This review is from: Minox BD 10x44 BP Binocular (Electronics)
Retail prices have been known to vary between $500 & $600.I purchased mine, through Amazon, for just under $200. (open box) I own approx. 20 Porro prism binoculars and this Minox Porro is one of the very best in my collection. Unfortunately, this Minox BD 10x44 BP binocular has been discontinued. Excellent sharpness, brightness, and 3D. Five Star Quality Control as well as optics and optical coatings. It is built to last a lifetime. Waterproof/fogproof. Exceptional light transmission of 94.5 % makes it a close second to the famous Fujinon 10x50 FMT-SX series of binoculars which has a light transmission of approx. 97%. This Minox BD 10x44 BP is small and lightweight (24.3 oz.) in comparison to the (50.1 oz.) Fujinon 10x50 FMT-SX. I own a Fujinon 7x50 FMTR-SX which seems to weight a ton (56 oz.) when hand held. If you can find a good used Minox 10x44 Porro prism it is well worth the money. Manufactured in Japan for Minox which is a German company. [...] |
