Thanks to their compact size, the Minox BD 8x24 BR with Altimeter binoculars are the ideal and reliable partner for all outdoor activities. The built-in atmospheric pressure sensor which measures the altitude down to the exact meter, when out in the mountains, for example. Additional optional features are displays for temperature and time of day, and also a stop-watch function. The respective readings can be read off at any time from a LC display arranged on the top of the bridge.

As with all Minox binoculars, the Minox BD 8x24 A boasts the highest optical performance and convenient handling. The precision manufactured lens system, with its multi-coated roof prisms, provides high contrast rendition as well as an extremely high resolution, even in critical light conditions.

The optical systems and the integrated electronic module are embedded in a sturdy aluminum body which guarantees reliable protection even when the going gets rough.

I received the Minox binoculars for Christmas, but can't figure out what to do with the neck strap that came with it. I think it may be for the case, but can't figure out how to attach it. Have not used the binos yet....
