Just a little more,

It is hard to say anything more accurate than the rewiever. The style is much like the soulful electronic work of Vikter Duplaix. Smooth and interesting with the little extra electronic sounds. However, I don't really find it appropiate on the dancefloor scene in a club. If played there, it should be in a chilling before-clubbing club. Does it make any sense?

Alexkid - Mint,
This review is from: Mint (Audio CD)
Alexkid's second album comes off just as good as the first, perhaps even a little more focused. While Bienvenida seemed at times to be a collection of singles, Mint has a definite flow to the tracks. The album starts with "Where," another shimmery house number, then moves into more vocal territory. The guest trumpet of Jon Hassell gives a more serious air to "Mint." But special kudos goes to "Don't Hide It," an intriguing revenge song with vocals provided by Lissette Alea.

Not bad.....not bad at all,
This review is from: Mint (Audio CD)
I bought this cd after hearing "come with me". Alex kid isnt a name that I have heard too often so I was a bit skeptical. I must say that I am VERY impressed. There are a couple of very funky tunes that deserve club time. I have heard him compared to Vikter Duplaix or Herbert and I would agree. He is not quite at their level but he is definitely up and coming. I gave it 4 stars because I dont love every song, but a couple are must haves in your collection. Definitely check it out!

I bought alexkid because I heard one song and took a chance buying it. Its actually pretty sweet with the exception of one song that prolly has to grow on me. The beats are sweet the lyrics are decent and the mood is I guess its down tempo. Its a quality cd I recommend.
