4.0 out of 5 stars Great on the inside, worthless sugar coating
These used to be called Breath Assure. Now, they're covered w/ sugar and a hint of mint, and they're Mint Assure. They work EXTREMELY WELL to get rid of halitosis from the inside out. They have that stupid coating, but don't even freshen your breath superficially. Instead, you swallow them, the gelatin coating dissolves, and the Parsley Seed Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great on the inside, worthless sugar coating, January 12, 2007

These used to be called Breath Assure. Now, they're covered w/ sugar and a hint of mint, and they're Mint Assure. They work EXTREMELY WELL to get rid of halitosis from the inside out. They have that stupid coating, but don't even freshen your breath superficially. Instead, you swallow them, the gelatin coating dissolves, and the Parsley Seed Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil inside cleans the bad-smelling items from your ?blood or ?lungs so that the air coming up from your lungs and your stomach no longer has garlic or onions or whatever.

In the old days, before the mint/sugar coating, they came in a box of 160 or 75. Now, with the coating, they stick together if they're packed together. So the company wraps each capsule separately in a plastic and foil wrapper.

Take them about 30 minutes before you need them. They are terrific and last for about 4 or 5 hours.

I give it 4 stars, but would give it 5 stars if they removed the worthless sugary coating. It makes them more difficult to swallow (you have to suck the sugar off first) and adds worthless calories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feeling Fresh, January 3, 2007
This product is fabulous. After eating spicy food or food rich in garlic this is the only product I have found that actually rids you of bad breath. Other products only work on your mouth. This product works on your mouth and your stomach, where the bad breath is actually coming from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing works on Garlic breath EXCEPT THIS, May 27, 2007
The title of my review says it all. Pasta with fresh garlic and oil? Anchovies and capers? Chili dogs with onions?

Mint Assure and Breath Assure are the only products (and I've tried them all) that truly eliminate bad breath

2.0 out of 5 stars High hopes - Disappointed, February 23, 2011
This review is from: Mint Asure Fresh Breath Capsules (Health and Beauty)
I purchased this product hoping for a replacement to the sugarless gum I chew all day long. My bad breath problems originate in the throat/stomach area, so this product promised a better fix than gum alone. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I didn't notice any difference using this product. The minty coating is nice at first, but I definitely still need gum to mask my breath.

Recognize that you are paying for convenient packaging here. A couple of sprigs of parsley do exactly the same thing for a few pennies. This product has had a rocky history and buyers should read the link below before purchasing. Some people think the legal action taken against Breath Asure (the predecessor of this product) was totally unfair, but you should read the proceedings regardless. I used Breath Asure for years and it did what it was supposed to do: cure food-odor related bad breath. It is NOT a substitute for brushing your teeth and using mouthwash.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to freshen your breath, October 31, 2011

This review is from: Mint Asure Fresh Breath Capsules (Health and Beauty)
This product is a good way to freshen your breath from the inside out. It works really well. I take medications that tend to cause my breath not to be so fresh so this product has solved that problem. I would highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous breath neutralizer!, February 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been using this product since it was just "Breath Asure" and thank goodness it's still available as "Mint Asure"! This is the ONLY product that will neutralize garlic and onion breath after a great meal since we know bad breath comes from within our stomachs. HIGHLY recommend this product! A+++

Being an avid lover of garlic and onions and all things spicy, Mint Asure is a must have for me. They used to carry this product and generics like it in stores but sadly I've only been able to find it online these days. Works great and uses the power of parsley seed oil and mint to neutralize bad breath odors from within, before they start.
