Full disclosure: I haven't purchased this book, but rather have been faithfully reading this strip in my local paper for the past year. If you're a fan of The Far Side and miss it as much as I do, you'll find the same twisted sense of humor in Tony Carrillo's strip. Maybe Tony is actually Gary Larson incognito? If cows start showing up in his strip on a regular basis, conspiracy theories will abound.

F-MINUS Gets an A-Plus.,

I first came across THIS CAN'T BE LEGAL in a bookstore. I had never heard of the comic strip before, but the cover of this book which has a giant teddy bear beating up a giant bird in a setting reminiscent of FIGHT CLUB made me laugh. I was able to obtain a copy and it has provided me with many hours of enjoyment and moments of laughter. The strip reminds me of THE PERRY BIBLE FELLOWSHIP, except all of the settings of F-MINUS are reality-based (many PERRY BIBLE FELLOWSHIP strips were set in fantasy worlds). Also, each strip is only one panel. F-MINUS is a very funny strip and THIS CAN'T BE LEGAL is a great collection. Highly recommended for people who enjoy great comic strips.

I love this book. I would say that anyone that enjoys "Far Side" or "Deep Thoughts" books would love this. It's just simple, silly, and brilliantly stupid. In a good way. Great coffee table book. Love it.

Comic Genius,

F Minus is consistently hilarious. Tony Carrillo's humor cuts deep...sometimes his work is painfully funny.I buy these books as gifts for all my family and friends and find that people of all ages are drawn (pun intended) to the comedy and the art. Children who can barely read will love this comic, and older folks who can barely wait to retire will want this in their collection. Cutesy family humor this is not. If you want to be regularly delighted, check out F Minus.
