Keeps your neck warm during old man winter's presence.
Carri L. Nyren
That wind chill really freezes your neck and this does a really good job keeping off the chill.
Howard Wackman
It stays up pretty well around my neck (had one before that just crumpled down).

Did I ever appreciate this gem today while waiting 30 minutes for a cab from my residence to escort me and my sick mom to see her doctor. while everyone was bundled up and freezing in cumbersome gear, I braved the wind, snow and terrible visibility. I may have gotten it a little late in the season but better late than never and today was perfect to try it out.. worked really great at warming and humidifying the air before it made its way to my lungs from my nose and kept my ears warm too.. prior to this it was difficult to get good air entry in both lung fields I don't think my nose was warming and humidifying fast enough to meet with my oxygen demand- I was always feeling so tired and short of breath. I am really thankful I had enough foresight to purchase this in merino wool as well.. quite soft and since I don't like synthetics at all, I can't sing the praise of this Neck Gaiter enough.. seller sent it in no time flat.. my only problem is that my glasses were really fogging up, but it was a small price to pay, next time I'll just wear my contact lenses..

If you need this for bad snow storms or outdoor sports then I highly recommend this one!

I like to bike in the winter and this is probably the best neck gaiter for it. It is double layered unlike some very very thin merino wool products which are single which adds a lot to the warmth. Very good breathability when it is up over the nose. I like to pull it up as high as I can before putting a hat on so it covers my ears. Snow goggles hold it in place well.

This wool is as soft as satin. Does not scratch at all. Could be used to make baby shirts. It's really warm, I double it before putting it one. I wear it day and night when it's cold. I fold in half so that the blue label does not show; I also cut off the washing instructions tag so that all you see is black. I gave mine away to a friend who was having chills with the flu and bought another for myself. Shipping was very fast.

Great piece of gear for colder weather. This is one layer that can effect your comfort level way out of proportion to it's size/ bulk. It feels wonderful next to the skin and makes a huge difference when trying to stay warm. If temperatures rise, it takes up next to no room in a pocket. Especially good if your jacket or vest doesn't have a tunnel collar. And safer than a scarf in some work situations.

I work around electricity in very cold temperatures so I cannot wear fleece. The wool is warm even when my breath makes it wet. No itch!

I needed to find something to keep my neck warm that did not have too much bulk. I tried several products, but this one is by far the most comfortable. The material is lightweight, soft and not scratchy. I thought I would need to cut off the interior label, but it turns out the label is soft and I don't even notice it. I liked this so much that I am ordering a few more for myself and as gifts for family and friends.

This is a must have item for every winter layering collection. This wool neck gaiter is well made, very soft (for wool), and did not shrink when I washed it. Even though it is a mid weight (according to maker) it is heavy enough to handle a -15F degree wind chill in a High Sierra winter. It also works as a hand warmer.

I have plenty of warm clothing, but the one area I often have trouble with is my neck. Except for the tunnel-vision snorkel style jackets, there is an opening where cold air gets in. There are plenty of hats and even face-masks (I ride a motorcycle), but when everything else is protected and warm, you just notice it more when your neck gets chilled.

Scarves can be nice, but I find them cumbersome. They don't stay put and winding them around to cover everything is an art I haven't mastered.

This just works in the last problem area. No drafts, comfortable and warm - and breathable. I don't feel any breeze, but it doesn't feel hot and sweaty like many other fabrics.
