Make sure you purchase some light weights too!,
By A Customer
This review is from: 8 Minute Arms [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I was trying to figure out before I bought this tape if you need hand-held weights, which you really do. The main description on Amazon doesn't mention this and the description on the box does not mention this either. I have toned arms already, but like to keep up workouts in between trips to the gym. As a woman, I don't like the look of "Big" arms and biceps. Also, I'm petite, so I prefer to do toning exercises as opposed to lifting huge weights. That's why I recommend this video. It's short and to the point. Jaime Brenkus says you can use 2 soup cans as weights, but this wasn't enough for me. I use 8 or 10 pound weights to get a better workout.

This tape adds great definition to your arms.,

This review is from: 8 Minute Arms [VHS] (VHS Tape)
You learn from this tape that it is not quanitity but the quaility and technique that creates the definition in your arms. I had lifted weights for about a year and thought my arms were OK. After just 3 weeks with this video, others had mentioned about my arms and how toned they were getting. I credit this tape. It is short and to the point besides showing proper technigue. It is the only tape I do faithfully 3 times a week. Thanks Jaime!

Total arm workout,
By msrachee "msrachee" (Philadelphia, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 8 Minute Arms [VHS] (VHS Tape)
8 Minute Arms is exactly that: 8 minutes of arm exercises with very, very little breaks in between. This is an excellent tape to add to your collection for the days that you really don't feel like working out (but would feel even worse if you don't) or for the days that you want to go easy and just have to do have do a little something. This tape assumes that the viewer is familiar with the exercises and that you have warmed up beforehand. There is no warmup, Jaime jumps into the program immediately after explaining what types of weight to use. Each exercise lasts for 30 seconds and the triceps, biceps, upper back and shoulders are targeted. This tape is challenging for beginners, those who have backslid and someone who wants to get a quick workout with out leaving the house.
