5.0 out of 5 stars BEST MATERIAL EVER!
This book has some of the BEST one-act plays I've ever read. My favorite is "Do Not Collect $200". Which stars: Napolean Banaparte, Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler, and James Joyce playing a game of Monopoly that turns into COMPLETE chaos. I directed this one-act for my school and it had a GREAT outcome. THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT! I say if you're looking for good quality 10...

2.0 out of 5 stars Oxford, Mississippi
Potential buyers of the book should realize that these plays are from Oxford, Mississippi, not Oxford, England. They are the work of local, semi-professional or amateur playwrights. Several are fun reads, but in general the quality does not compare well with the collections of 10 minute plays being published out of the Actor's Theatre of Louisville, at least to my taste.

4.0 out of 5 stars producer/director, April 19, 2005
This review is from: Ten Minute Plays from Oxford (Paperback)
All eleven of these plays have been produced to rave reviews of audiences. The national award winners were written by professional playwrights in New York, Florida and Colorado. The remainder were Oxford favorites from over 300 submissions. Most of the plays have been produced by college theatre companies across the country.
