If you have no time or are a beginner, buy this, August 13, 2001
This review is from: 8 Minute Workouts: Arms / Abs / Buns / Legs (DVD)
8 minute arms are fast and easy, and you can do it without weights or with weights (or soup cans if you don't have weights). 8 minute legs are easy, and you use your chair or couch, perfect for the beginner. 8 minute abs are a bit difficult, definetly work your way into those. 8 minute buns are not for the weak kneed, you definitly need an exercise mat. All the workouts are so fast, it doesn't even feel like your working out.

Tough but Effective, August 8, 2003
This review is from: 8 Minute Workouts: Arms / Abs / Buns / Legs (DVD)
I am a 24 year old female and I own a couple of fitness DVDs and I have to say that this DVD is the most effective at working my Buns and Abs in a short period of time. One of the videos that I own that is comparable to this one is Tamilee's I Want That Body. Let me tell you, the 8 minute workouts are much more tough. Although Tamilee's video is more visually appealing and professional, I still favour the somewhat cheesy 8 minute collection. I don't feel the legs workout is very effective. The arms workout could be effective but I don't really use it. All in all, I definitely recommend the 8 minute abs and buns section. The 8 minutes definitely fly by because the lead instructor is always encouraging the user to continue. It also helps that there is a countdown clock on screen - it really helps to keep me motivated. Yes, I find this video awesome. There is no excuse to not set aside 16 minutes a day for tighter buns and abs.

Why don't they advertise all the bonus workouts?, February 10, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: 8 Minute Workouts: Arms / Abs / Buns / Legs (DVD)
A friend of mine showed me his 8-minute ab tape years ago. I tried it once and was exhausted, but could definately feel my abs. I always wanted to buy it, but never did until just now. I found this DVD including 8-minute buns, arms, and legs and I figured what the heck. All I wanted was the ab section, but this DVD isn't very expensive and I figured maybe I'd try the other workouts on it. I just got it yesterday, and did the abs part - that was fine - a little tough but the nice thing is there's a timer for each section so you know when the end is near if you want to rest early. After that I figured I'd try the arms section - which was too easy. I did learn a good arm exercise or two from the video. Next time I'll use 10 lb weights each hand (tomato cans!?). So after that I looked at the extras on the DVD - there are a TON! I don't know why they don't advertise these on the package - it would boost sales for sure. On the ab and arm disc there were like 4 or 5 extra workouts like "10 minute this" and "15 minute that". I tried one of the 15 minute things - it was like a rip off of Tai Bo but it was good! I liked it a lot - got me energized. Anyhow - this DVD set (2 discs total) has all sorts of extras on it so even if you don't like 1 section, you're sure to find SOMEthing you do like.
