First Danish punk album, July 14, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Minutes to Go (Audio CD)
In the 1970s the Danish music scene was mostly dominated by left-wing, politically oriented bands. This album is one of the most remarkable and, at least by the standards of that time, disturbing releases in Danish rock history. The original 1979 release lasted less than 30 minutes (like many other punk albums) but the addition of several bonus tracks on the 1997 CD-rerelease changed that. The musical content mainly consists of hardcore punk songs with anti-authority lyrics (Police, Military Madness). This album is especially recommended to "advanced" punk-oriented music fans with an open mind.
