Most of my weight problem is in my stomach. Thanks to genetics. I have high blood pressure, diabetes and hypothyroid. My doctor told me I needed to lose weight especially in my stomach. I followed the exercises and the plan. I lost 10lbs all in my stomach and went down a size. No longer it is a problem to button the pants, shorts or skirts. I have 20lbs to go but the more I continue to do it the more I see results. Also, I have done the orginal exercises and the real shapes/real sizes and noticed a toned defination in my arms, legs and butt. This really works..I'm living proof. I would never promote something that doesn't work.

I've found this book to be incredibly practical and effective for toning and firming the abdominal region. Although you will need a more rigorous exercise program to truly obtain a 6 pack, this is the program to start with to eliminate any soft area around your stomach and love handles and allow you to actually SEE your abs. This book has helped me to go to the next level. Includes great diet and lifestyle suggestions as well. Recommended.

I bought this 8 min workout book because I loved the original book. I liked this book, but found the book a little harder to stick to than his original because of my lack of free time. I did however read this book cover to cover and still agree with everything he says. And as soon as school ends I will kick this program into full gear as I believe in his workouts I lost weight easily and fast on his original 8 min workout book. So I have faith in this book. Just stick to the program and you will be amazed how great you feel.

This book's premise is fine, and the exercises are reasonable. It would have made a perfectly good magazine article. But instead, he has padded the thing out beyond belief. The first 60 pages are trivial rehashes of information anyone who's ever read anything about fitness could repeat back, printed in big type with lots of title pages, but that's simply harmless. What's inexcusable is the repeating word for word, picture for picture, all the "belly day" exercises for each of three levels: all four pages of each Monday's routines are repeated for Wednesday, and again for Friday!

Conclusion: $4 worth of information, packaged in a slick and annoying self-promoting $12.95 package.

I really love the exercises in this book, and they really do help me! I have been adding more than just these exercises to my routine (mostly walking), but for toning, I love these.

As for the rest of the book, I am not sure that I agree with his ideas. If you are looking just for some great exercises to do in a small amount of time, this is an awesome book!

I really did not like this book as much as "8 Minutes in the Morning" by Jorge Cruise. If you only have 8 minutes for Abs, I suggest getting one of Denise Austin's abs videos that are shorter in length.

I Look for books all the time on this topic to see if there any new moves I can pick up to help shape and tone the stomach area which is a problem for most of us. I think if you are just starting out this book will help you understand the positions you need to get into but it's going to take alot more than 8 minutes to get results and I have been training for years.
