About Mio
The story of Mio began in 1999 when it was created by entrepreneur and mother of three, Liz Dickinson. Like many of us, Liz balances family and career, leaving little time for fitness. After several unsuccessful attempts to achieve her fitness goals and shed the pregnancy weight-gain of her third child, Liz turned to a personal trainer for advice. I was skeptical when I purchased this watch after reading previous reviews. But my personal trainer had one and liked it, so I decided to take a chance. So far, it has done everything it is supposed to do and I have had no problems with it. The only drawback I have with it is that even though it is advertised as a"petite", the watchband could be a little longer.

I owned heart rate monitors with chest strap and it became bothersome once I started to get into my work out. This heart rate monitor is great without the chest strap. Price is good and it reads my heart rate rather quickly, comparable to my old monitor with the chest strap. I would recommend this product.
