"Me va la vida en ello" is the only reason why I got this CD. I love this song, it gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it, so I have to be specific and say that I'm giving five stars to the song, not the album.
Luis Eduardo Aute is an amazing composer, the lyrics are beautiful, and very deep. Silvio Rodriguez has covered this song in this album, and to be quite honest, his version is much better than Aute's original version.
Silvio has used just his voice and his guitar to create a masterpiece. If you speak Spanish get ready to be moved by a very beautiful song, and if you don't speak Spanish, enjoy it anyway, because you'll be touched by this song whether you understand the lyrics or not, and believe me, the song is worth buying the album.
