What a pleasure! This is a wonderful story about loving and being loved by animals. The prose is simple and elegant and fun for adults as well as older children.

How unusual to hear a cat's point of view and feel it is
truly real. This book is a delightful read.

Cat's Eye View of Life, the Universe and Everything,
By
This review is from: Mirabelle's Memoirs: A feline Tale (Paperback)
The approach the author has taken is as a translator as opposed to observer. Alot of ground is covered in this far too brief book. One Chapter has a short synopsis of how society views cats as seen by a cat. [A real interesting loop] Also included is how a cat views its owners or with the same twist [Maybe, not a twist since this is a 'translation'].
The main focus is how cat a handles or tries to communciate problems or dislikes. The whole journal of an illness and recovery is handled well by this unorthodox litertary approach. This book has large type and would even be readable by a young reader maybe 10 or older. |
