4.0 out of 5 stars What I was expecting
While the seller I chose wasn't the cheapest, it was the _only_ one that would ship internationally.

The monitor is what I was expecting. It was brand new and arrived with no damage.

The only problem I have is that it says it can do 1024x768 (interlaced), but I can only get it to do 800x600.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is not a computer monitor
I bought this to use as a cheap monitor for a Windows XP computer system I was giving away to a charity. This monitor will not act as a computer display, producing an overlapping band of three fuzzy images. There was no way to adjust it. When I contacted the vendor he said that it was not a to be used as a computer monitor, despite what the product description said. It...

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, straightforward display, September 1, 2011

Purchased this item as a display for a simple automation controller. I had used similar models with small-scale point-of-sale systems in the past. Price was hard to beat at $14.99; the display just plain works, no muss, no fuss. Plugged it in and was off and running. Display contrast is quite easy on the eyes, with a warm white display with amber overtones.

Highly recommended if you need a simple, small monochrome display.

The 9" monitor arrived quickly and was packed very well. The monitor is light in weight, small in overall size, and fits well on my narrow work bench. Will be used for testing computers after repairs. Came with a manual, power cable and a monitor cable. The grayscale image and text is clear onscreen and can be adjusted for contrast. I would recommend this product for someone needing a small computer monitor with a grayscale image.

It was for POS displays, not for use with a computer. He offered to refund the price of the monitor, but would not pay for return shipping. He took no responsibility for the misinformation in the specs or product description. Obviously by the time I paid for the shipping I would be no better off then before. SO there was $30 gone.
