The Christmas season marks the center of time and our calendar as the most spectacular event in history and was predicated hundreds of years before. In _The Miracle of Christmas_, John MacArthur analyzes every aspect of Christ's birth and the glorious meaning this has for Christians. He travels from the prophecies of Christ's coming in the Old Testament, through the lives of Joseph and Mary, and all the way to the wise men. Amongst this story of the first Christmas, MacArthur weaves short explanations of how such Christmas rituals as trees, cards, and Santa Clause came about. All is well-written, and a fascinating tribute to the importance of Christ's birth to Christians.
