5.0 out of 5 stars Clark Does It Again
Like anything with The Clark name this is great. You will love it. The way they blend their angelic voices is amazing. Let this CD/cassette take you back to church.

2.0 out of 5 stars I'm Looking for a MIracle!
I absolutely love the Clark Sisters, I don't however love this recording. I bought the c.d for "Simply Yes", and I guess I should be happy for that, because these songs are totally locked into a 90's sort of time-warped, new jack R&B sound, unlike the classic sounds, of most of their previous recordings. "Amazing Grace" is done nicely, and so is the Dorinda Clark-Cole led...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Clarks even Without Twink are Dynamic..., June 13, 2000
This review is from: Miracle (Audio CD)
...these sisters' records are hard to find...even in those corner record and bookstores owned operated by the deacon's cousin's wife...you know the kind I'm talking about. This is the most recent of the Clark Sisters CDs and they somehow managed to let keyboardist/writer extraordinaire Twinkie Clark get away from the other three sisters. Not to worry. This is one spirit filled love fest. The three remaining singers take turns singing solos and meet in a smoothed out and updated version of Twink Clark's "Miracle". Karen shows out in especially in "Call Me". It is a great production with excellent singing and you'll love it even if you are not normally fond of urban gospel.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE GIRLS WILL FOREVER BE NUMBER ONE., March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Miracle (Audio CD)
I TRULY THANK THE LORD FOR THESE GIRLS BEING INSTRUMENTS IN MY LIFE TO HELP ENCOURAGE ME THROUGH SOME OF THE WORST TIMES IN MY LIFE. I HAVE BEEN TRULY ENJOYING THESE BEAUTIFUL ANNOINTED WOMAN OF GOD MUSIC FOR A LONG TIME. THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM THAT TRULY BLESSED MY SOUL WAS "IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT". DORINDA CLARK COLE KNOW SHE NEED TO BE CUTTING A SOLO ALBUM BY HERSELF, BECAUSE SHE HAS THAT ANNOINTING ON HER LIFE THAT THE BIBLE SAYS "A SOFT WORD SOOTHS THE SAVAGE BEAST". SHE ELEVATES IN THE LORD IN HEIGHTS UNKNOWN. KAREN, KAREN, KAREN, GIRL THE WAY YOU TAKE BY FORCE ON THIS ALBUM, LIKE YOU DID ON CARLTON PEARSON'S ALBUM. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SUFFERETH VIOLENCE AND THE VIOLENCE TAKE IT BY FORCE. SHE ABSOLUTELY TAKES IT BY THE POWER OF GOD. THE GIRL GOT VOCALS. JACKIE WITH YOUR SWEET SELF. YOU HOLD YOUR ON, IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE LORD USING YOU, THE HARMONY WOULDN'T BE SO EFFECTIVE. YOU HAVE A VOICE LIKE A HUMMINGBIRD. THE OTHER SONGS ARE "CALL HIM", "I DON'T KNOW WHY", AND "HE'S A REAL FRIEND". HEY, I LOVE ALL OF THEM. GO OUT AND GET THE ALBUM, HEY ALL OF THEIR MUSIC BECAUSE I GUARANTEE YOU YOU WILL BE BLESSED. GOD BLESS YOU CLARK SISTERS.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly AWESOME!!, April 15, 2011

I know it was really hard not with them not having Twinkie on the album, but Jacky, Dorinda, Karen ripped it up!! I love every single song. But that "Amazing Grace" is just beautiful!! That Karen hurt the microphone "SANGIN" that song....SMH!! This album is especially important because it was made the same year they lost their beloved mother, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. For TRUE Clark fans, if you don't have this in your collection...GET IT! Don't burn the CD, now!!

"Amazing Grace" is done nicely, and so is the Dorinda Clark-Cole led "Jesus is the best thing". The only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because it's the Clark Sisters, and when it's all said and done, they are some of the most talented, blessed, and annointed women I've ever seen or heard, they'll still remain that in my eyes, even with the lackluster production of this c.d Where in the world is Twinkie?

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Clarky!!!!! But I'm grateful for another effort to add to the collection., September 7, 2006

This review is from: Miracle (Audio CD)
This effort was produced BeBe Winans.....and you could tell Twinkie wasn't anywhere around....she wasn't sitting in the corner....she wasn't standing close to the mic...she wasn't even in the room... We've already suffered the lost of Denise Clark, Mattie Moss-Clark, and now Twinkie...the least BeBe could do with the lengends was not to experiment. These songs don't really embody the signiture style at all. DLawrence also produced a couple of tracks...but I wasn't impressed with the work here...."Jesus is the Best Thing" was great..... Amazing Grace was a little weird...but it is the Hymn of the Church. I would get this album only to have it in my collection...(where mine sits and doesn't move)...and it is at a low price....other than that....it's not a signiture Album......
