Having decided to start grooming my dog myself, I brought this product to place on the dining table whilst doing so. I hoped it would give her a stable surface to stand on, and help to keep her from slipping around.
It certainly worked just as I intended! The mat is a lot larger than I expected it would be, and I'm sure it could easily be cut in half to make two separate pieces if desired. The material is very thick and sturdy, and my dog didn't seem uncomfortable about standing on it. She even was encouraged to lie down on the table, because the mat is quite well padded and she found it comfortable. This made grooming her an awful lot easier! As an added bonus, it also made cleaning up the mess once I'd clipped my dog much easier, because some of the chopped hair actually clung to the mat and I was able to just take it out to the dustbin and brush the mess in there without too much trouble. This is a really useful product, especially considering the price. |
