Product Description

Miracle Frootie Miracle Fruit Tablets are the taste sensation that is sweeping the nation. Miracle Frooties transform ordinary foods into something extraordinary. What is miracle berry? The Miracle Berry (Synsepalum dulcificum) is a fruit native to West Africa. It is also known as Miracle Fruit or Miraculous Fruit. The berry is approximately the size of a cranberry and it contains the glycoprotein, Miraculin, which modifies taste perception. Once Miraculin binds to the taste buds, lemons will taste like lemonade and beer like chocolate thanks to the temporary altered state of the taste receptors on your tongue. Miracle Frooties can be enjoyed with friends and family. Make your own "flavor tripping" parties. Miracle berry can be helpful to people who want to limit their sugar intake and enhance their lifestyles by eating a healthier diet. Here are some suggestions of foods to eat with Miracle Frooties: Lemons and Limes, Oranges, Tomatoes, Cranberries, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Pineapple, Granny Smith Apples, Strawberries, Pomegranate, Raspberries, and Grapes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sour made sweet is AMAZING!!! June 8, 2011

These things are really awesome. I was very uncertain when I ordered the tablets. I saw a lot of different reviews online saying that it did not work for this person or that person.

For me, they did wonders! When I bit the slice of lime, it was as sweet as a tangerine! Lemons like oranges! Pineapple sprinkled with sugar! And best of all were the STRAWBERRIES! They are soooooo tasty that you have to remember what eating too much fruit might do to you! Or else you'll want to gorge on this stuff!
The effects lasted about an hour and a half with 1/2 of a tablet. I just nibbled it up and let it coat my tongue for a minute or so. Using them that way it only cost me about 85 cents per individual session. Pretty cheap for such an amazing experience!

There are a couple of things I would suggest. First, make sure you taste the stuff BEFORE you try the tablet. Good to know just how sour that lemon is! Second, be sure to coat your ENTIRE tongue with the dissolved tablet. Third, check your tongue. It should be pink, not white. If it's white, you need a tongue scraper.Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner
Not only will you be able to taste things better but your breath will be fresher, too.
Lastly, if you are a smoker it may not work as well for you.

Overall I would say that I would definitely recommend trying Miracle Berry Tablets!

5.0 out of 5 stars SWEET! January 8, 2012

First, this is the only "miracle fruit" product I've tried, and therefor can't compare it to anything else. My wife and I cut up a lemon, lime, grapefruit, and pomegranate, then sat awkwardly while the tablets slowly dissolved on our tongues.... She said it tasted like rotten fruit roll-up mixed with cardboard, but she lies and it's not that bad. The flavor is extremely weak anyway so who cares? Anyway, whether it be this brand or not, everyone should try this at least once. Limes became the best thing on the planet, grapefruit a close second. We have 8 more of these to go, and just the first experience was well worth the price.

Pros:
Freaking awesome.
Limes are amazing.
Lemons taste totally different in a very good way.
Grapefruit is incredible.

Cons:
Though things might taste sweeter, you should still be aware at the amount of acid you're shoving into your face when eating sour fruits.
Afterwards our lips were stinging.
I would guess that someone with acid reflux problems might not enjoy the aftermath of this, though my wife didn't complain.
You'll regret not cutting up more fruit before trying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! January 26, 2012

I absolutely ADORED these things! My fiancè and I bought lemons, grapefruit, cottage cheese (as recommended elsewhere), and Guinness Stout. We also had some Ketel One vodka, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, and Bacardi Rum lying around that I gave a try.

My fiancè was not too fond of the effects, mostly because he doesn't like things too sweet to begin with. The tablets actually made lemons far too sweet for him to handle, so keep that in mind if you're not a big sweet eater.

I, on the other hand, LOVE anything sweet. Dieting is hard for me because I get a sweet tooth at least once a week and then and end up gorging on something terrible for me. With these handy, I think I'll actually be able to stick to my diet by snacking on lemons and grapefruit when I get that craving!

Lemons tasted like the sweetest lemonade. Grapefruit tasted different, but in a very good way. I took a drink of a Lemon Propel, and that also tasted very different, but still yummy. The Guinness Stout was just plain weird, but worth the experience. The Ketel One and Bacardi tasted like water, and I was able to roll the alcohol around on my tongue, something that would otherwise have made me gag. The Firefly just tasted like sweet tea while it was on my tongue, but something you should keep in mind is that these tablets do not take away the burning effect you get from hard liquor when it goes down. It was kind of weird, but I ended up getting buzzed by accident because I had a harder time telling how much I'd had without the icky taste in my mouth.

I don't like cottage cheese to begin with, but my fiancè seemed pretty happy snacking on that. We didn't buy any, but another thing I read somewhere is that cream cheese apparently tastes like cheesecake. Worth a try, if you like cheesecake!

We only felt the effects for about 20 minutes, though after reading some reviews here, I think I might go scrape my tongue and try again to see if I can get this hour long effect people keep talking about!
