I've been trying to grow grass in my back yard and have been enriching the soil with a variety of potting soils. I thought they were all the same until I tried this. I laid the stuff out and threw grass seed on it. Had new grass showing remarkably fast -- a couple of days. Amazing stuff.

I thought I was buying a high quality product because it had the "Miracle Grow"
name on it. But what I got was a product that is 99% peat moss with Miracle
Grow nutrients added in.

I haven't a clue if this stuff has the ability to grow anything.

Gnats come with the soil. Also, sold bone dry, which is frustrating if you have a free weekend and try to plant with this mix, because if you don't reconstitute with water first, you will never be able to soak the mix by watering afterwards.
