Pastor Shirley Caesar is a woman with an annointing. Your Next in Line speaks to me every time I hear the CD. I just get so excited that i can't contain myself at all. She is the #1 pator of all along with Bishop. I feel that she sings about what she preaches. She is the best thing that has happend to me in my life.

Pastor continue to do God's will and all things will fall in place.

I just want to say that I grew up listening to Shirley sing. I have her albums from way back when. My sister goes to different churches singing Pastor Shirley's songs and people get blessed and some have even gotten saved. Strong Man, Your Next In Line and He's Working It Out are the most requested. Shirley really knows what people are feeling deep inside and she know how to reassure them that God has not forgotten about them. I just have one testimony to give, my mother had been down with arthritis for a long time and then she began to pray and pray and listen to Shirley's songs and she was delivered. Shirley keep doing what you are doing, you are such a blessing.

...and that's really saying something, considering that all of them have been quite solid! This one is a special standout, however. Shirley always has a special knack for reaching back to the past while NOT getting stuck in it, like some other artists who have been singing for 30+ years.

Case in point: her remake of her own "Don't Drive Your Mama Away" shows that it's still relevant in today's society to treat your mother right, while more contemporary songs like "God Keeps His Promises" and "Who'll Be A Witness" bring the clear message of the gospel home in a very modern -- but still churchy, thank goodness -- way.

Shirley always makes certain that she has a good band and choir/singers for her live recordings, and this album is no exception. The recording values are exceptional, the highs and lows clear, and you can understand EVERYTHING that the choir and Shirley say the first time around. Unfortunate that's pretty rare nowadays!

I can't say that I'm a hardcore Shirley Caesar fan, but I'm a fan nonetheless. Even if I weren't, I believe in giving credit where credit is due: this album is stellar (and I think it won a Stellar award). It's not only Shirley's best and most consistent recording of the 90's, it's one of the best gospel albums of the 90's PERIOD. Enjoy!

The CD "Miracle In Harlem" has to be one of her best works. I loved every recording on this CD and would recommend it to everyone. I especially enjoyed what she did with "You're next in line", and must say that I can actually listen to it over and over again. Pastor Shirley, keep up the great work you're doing, and God is sure to bless you mightily...just as you are blessing others!!!

Once again Pastor Shirley Caesar delivers a powerful and soul-stirring message through song. She encourages you to hang on in dire times because "You're Next In Line for a miracle your breakthrough will come".
She also reminds you that "God Keeps His Promises". With her rendition of "How I Love Jesus" she tells us how Jesus can take your broken pieces and no matter what you've done, where you've been, He will give you a brand new start. With "Strong Man" Pastor Shirley really makes the message clear that God is a Deliverer.

WHEN BILLS,KIDS,SPOUSE,SICKNESS,JOB SEEM TO GET IN YOUR WAY JUST PUT ON MIRACLE IN HARLEM PICK ANY ONE OF THE SONGS AND YOU WILL FEEL BLESSED BY ONE OF THEM. NEXT IN LINE IS MY FAVORITE AND STRONG MAN THEY ARE SPECIAL TO ME AND I AM SURE TO SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE THIS WOMAN OF GOD YOU WILL NEVER WALK AWAY WITHOUT CARRYING THE SPIRIT OF GOD HOME WITH YOU WHEN YOU SEE HER IN CONCERT OR WHEN YOU LISTEN TO HER YOU FEEL SOMETHING. THIS SPIRITUAL WOMAN OF GOD I HAVE SEEN SO MANY TIMES AND A OPPORTUNITY A FEW TIMES TO GET A HUG FROM HER YOU FEEL THE ANOINTING WHEN YOU TOUCH HER YOU CANNOT HELP BUT LOVE HER I THANK GOD FOR LETTING ME BE ABLE TO COME TO KNOW HER IN MY LIFETIME. MY SISTER PASSED AWAY MANY YEARS AGO, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET OVER HER DEATH SHE TOO WAS A GOSPEL SINGER. WHEN I STARTED SEEING MORE OF SHIRLEY I FELT THE EMPTY FEELING WAS NOT THERE AND LESS DEPRESSED. WHEN YOU SEE SHIRLEY CAESAR YOU WALK AWAY WITH A BLESSING SO WHEN I GO TO SEE SHIRLEY MY SISTER IS RIGHT IN MY HEART AND I HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AT ANY CONCERT WITH PASTOR SHIRLEY. THE NIGHT OF MIRACLE IN HARLEM I PRAISED THE LORD LIKE I NEVER DID BEFORE BECAUSE THAT WAS MY NIGHT TO BE BLESSED. YOU SEE GOD DOES KEEP HIS PROMISES, MOVED STRONG MAN OUT OF THE WAY, THAT'S WHY I CAN SAY HOW I LOVE JESUS. I SAY TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE LET GO AND LET GOD AND TAKE NOTHING FOR YOUR JOURNEY. I WAS SO SATISFIED THAT NIGHT. PASTOR SHIRLEY IS TRULY A WOMAN OF GOD AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Once again Shirley Ceaser puts her best foot forward, her ministry proves strong again. My favorite song was You're Next In Line. This CD was really masterpiece.

I look at my pastor as one who believes in trying to help the hurting people of our day. Whenever you meet her, she is always on fire for the Lord. The album "A Miracle In Harlem" always made me crying when I hear it. Because the song entitled "Strong Man" lets me know that know matter what satan tries to do, he will be defeated every time. My pastor is a product of the college in which I am currently a Senior (Shaw University in Raleigh, NC) and as a student we sometimes will go through, but as long as we know that God will see us every step of the Way. My pastor a real soldier for the Lord. Your music blesses me over and over.

Never had the pleasure to of met Ms. Shirley Caesar or Mr. Bill Moss. When I first heard of her title (A Miracle In Harlem) I was overwhelm, thinking in terms will God visit Harlem for a grand fanally for his insturmental world fit ever body theme... Iam a jazz singer of the blues on the count of my folks want us to listen to the Billy Holiday sing song, God bless the child that gots its own. Ms. Billy Holiday is from my home town which is none other than the state of Maryland. A quiet section which is located in the heart of Baltimore Maryland a street call Chase Street. There were many of churches to attend. We all loved the Billy Holiday with her pony tail hair style and her pearl white ear-rings to let her statesman of let it be well known we believe in keeping our teeth clean as we keep our white marble steps clean as well as our hair... We guess those days are long gone from us, althought we see Ms. Shirley Caesar as star as the Billy Holiday the only different is the music of communication to her people. Each state is well different from the other as the similiarty of two states hanging out with one another is consider to be cousins. I have a special crusader in mind with the sign posted of Shirley Caesar title: A Mircale In Harlem of the post nasal drip of the lost of our miracle hair for which we were born with. This has cause us as a people to not to become so renoun as a movie star or a sports runner or anything else for that matter. A special presentation of a movie showing the detail of our missing hair and how it had to go through action for the line of dutie for its country. If I had that miracle in harlem I would call the movie: (The America Hair Publisher The Motion Picture including Shirley Caesar and Mr. Bill Moss trio. I guess this way it will be some sort of appeal while the real President Bill is in office...There are many of folks don't under-stand the family tradition in there up-bringing. Unfortunatly family member of the father & mother side of my family is any longer with us. So there fore I am carrying the weight without any proper understanding of how I was de- voloped as a child. Ms. Shirley Caesar is the closest I could come across throughtout my endeovers. Iam homeless , but if you wish to request a answer I will keep in touch. Thanks ever so much for taking time to understand a small portion of my up-bring culture.

I am giving this powerful, eclectic volume of the best gospel music I have ever heard, to friends and family members. Everyone should buy it and listen closely to the words of wisdom and life that this veteran music innovator has created. The first song "Next in Line for a Miracle" had me crying and laughing and praising God for the gift of Shirley Caesar, the Queen of Gospel. The music is clear, new, and pure gospel. Each time I listen to the tape I want to start shouting and dancing. I am not a musician but I know great music when i hear it.
