More About the Author

Rita Hinton speaks and writes with the rich flavor of a multinational personality.
"I speak with an accent but I don't think with one," she reminds her audience. "My passion is to assist you, who are seeking a life worth living. For some that could mean to discover who they really are. For others it may be to build meaningful relationships with God, with themselves and with others; not forgetting the scores of people who need relief from faulty thinking patterns, who long to be supported in establishing helpful beliefs and habits.
"My books and presentations are intended to accomplish all of the above and more. As a reader put it, 'Your books are working miracles' and as a participant in one of my workshops remarked, 'Your example inspires me to be who I always longed to be...' I humbly agree and invite you to dare to read one of my books for yourself."
In her transformational masterpieces readers are treated to the wit and wisdom of a woman who has been through plenty of ups and downs to appreciate the stabilizing effects of true love, contagious joy and inner peace.
Today, Rita is an inspirational speaker, board certified counselor and creative workshop facilitator, living in Florida with husband, Rich, and their six children.
Her inspired books, "A Miracle of Love" (a true story) published in 2008 and "Dare to Love Again" (a transformational, self-help novel) coming out in 2009, are touching a wide spectrum of readers with an irresistible call to courageous living.

Born into the black and white world of oppression and hopelessness in Eastern European Hungary during the revolution, she could only dream of a life worth living. In her relentless search for freedom, she left her native country, still a teenager, and spent a decade in West-Germany where she won a beauty pageant and became a top model, "out of desperation..." After a season in the fashion industry and extensive traveling, she finally settled in the United States - her "promised land" - having found the missing elements and the secret to true success. This hard earned and highly cherished knowledge she gladly shares with her rapidly expanding group of enthusiasts.

"I write because, to me, it is like breathing; it is an effortless, normal activity in my everyday life. Ignoring the urge to write would be like trying to hold my breath. The thought of publishing though, did not occur to me until one day my husband suggested the outlandish idea that others could benefit from the content of my steadily multiplying notebooks hidden in the closet.
I remember staring at him in disbelief, yet I felt overwhelmed by a joy that drove tears to my eyes.
You see, I had heard that persistent call from within before; this was my secret dilemma that I had tried to squelch for quite a while. As a mother of all these children, with a silly accent, I just could not wrap my image around such a quantum leap. It took many more years of battling the demons of discouragement and faulty self-image before I was able to allow the possibility that - with God - I not only could, but that I should write, for a change, with YOU (dear reader) in mind."

* A Miracle of Love - Turning from tragedy to triumph - tells Rita's personal journey to profound faith through a harrowing experience, seeking hope for her young child. This inspirational biography provides insight to those searching for renewed trust in God amidst the spiritual battles that we face at times between faith and doubt. Sometimes God asks us to act in faith, projecting the outcome before it manifests. A Miracle of Love is an unforgettable story that will serve you as a reminder that no matter what happens there is a greater picture and a true hope for us here on earth and in eternity.
* Dare to Love Again - an allegory, a divine romance and a co-creative counseling book, all in one. You have never read anything like it! Will be released in the Fall of 2009.

5.0 out of 5 stars A story worth reading., February 16, 2009
This review is from: A Miracle of Love (Paperback)
You will enjoy the story of this true miracle. Fast read, hard to put it down once you are into it.
The atmosphere that the book creates is very uplifting. Written in a unique style, it feels like you are right there, touched, crying, laughing, celebrating with the author and her family as they experience an undeniably divine intervention.
The "Bonus Section" has the potential to clear up some deep questions about religiosity vs. relationship with the living God.
Everybody should read "A Miracle of Love" - at least twice. For a gift, you can not go wrong with this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars True Miracle!, February 5, 2009

This review is from: A Miracle of Love (Paperback)
This is one of those precious stories that one must read and retain among their valuable books. The bravery as the author going back in time, where nobody would want to, to recollect the most horrific event of her life is truly remarkable. With blunt honesty she describes how she lived her life in religious hypocrisy up to that point. The way she is going through soul searching.... How she finds enlightenment in the miracle and love. Finally, transformation... That eventually heals and strengthen this tormented family is very moving...Beautifully written!

The "bonus section" alone is something that I would recommend to all readers, who ever imagined what would it be like if we could place our questions directly front of our creator.
Read on....A Miracle of Love

This review is from: A Miracle of Love (Paperback)
The author has a writing style that will challenge you to think...not just about the story that is unfolding before you, but about your own life and how we all have something in common. If you want to read a book that has the potential to change your life for the good, then read this one, over and over if you want, it never gets old. In these days of hearing the psychobabble of self help and get rich quick peddlers, this book will cut to the chase of every person's lack of success, relationship issue, or confusion about life in general. It's that good!
