More About the Author

Victoria Chancellor grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, but married a Texan and moved west in 1971. She now lives in a suburb of Dallas, Texas with her husband and a menagerie of animals, and spends weekends on Lake Holbrook in Mineola, Texas. While working as a financial analyst at EDS, she sold her first book, a historical romance, on proposal to Harper-Collins. She then sold a contemporary romance, quit her "day job," and began writing paranormal romances. As of 2011 she has 22 published romances. National awards include the HOLT Medallion and the Golden Quill for Best Paranormal Romance, and she is also a two-time Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Finalist. Her books have appeared on the Ingrams Top 50 list and the Waldenbooks bestseller list.

Her current "Brody's Crossing" series for Harlequin American Romance consists of six (as of 2011) contemporary romances set in a fictional west Texas town. Before the Brody's Crossing books, she wrote series romance set in the fictional Texas Hill Country town of Ranger Springs. Her native-Texan in-laws influenced her writing career by telling wonderful stories of their years in small towns. I am not a big fan of modern-day romance, but combined with time travel, this was a pleasant surprise -- a very good book to read. It's not often the main male character is shown so emotionally (near the end of the book).

Victoria has a talent for making dreams come true in her time-travel books. She makes you belive the unbelievable. In this story she tells us about a Erina, who has just given birth to her son Colin & how, with the help from the Virgin Mary, saves her son's life. She transports them right into the path of Grant Kirby. Grant does not believe Erin's story about coming 100 years into the future because here is where doctors can fix Colin's heart. He thinks she has suffered a trauma, a can't believe that his own great grand father is Colin's father. He doesn't believe her until it is to late...
This is a story of faith, trust, love & most importantly of all miracles if only you can believe.

In 1896 texas, Erina O'Shea's son was born too early. As a result of this he had a heart problem. The doctors said the was nothing that could be done. Erina needed a miracle and that's what she got. The Holy Mary sent her 100 years in time to Grant Kirby's condo. He was a handsom, kind, and wealthy man. He was willing to help Erina and her son even though he didn't believe her story. Erina and Grant developed a relationship while the united their efforts to help save her son. They grew to love each other. Erina taught Grant how to believe and Grant taught Erina how to love. This is where they released that love is the greatest miracle of all. Miracle of Love is a wonderful touching story that proves that love is the most powerful thing on earth. Victoria Chancellor wrote this book in 1996. It won two awards. If you read this book you'll find out why!
