About the Author
Children's author/illustrator Lisa O'Connell has lived in the United States, Mexico, and Switzerland. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. Lisa attended four different high schools; in three different counties. She also attended The International School of Geneva, Switzerland, Webster College in Geneva, Switzerland, and the University of Delaware where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. "Miracle Max...Missing in Maryland" was published in 2000. In 2002 Lisa created the "Official Website of Children's Author Lisa B. C. O'Connell" and the free "Miracle Max Mystery Club" in order to stay in touch with her readers. The website is "a safe place on the Internet for kids to learn and have fun." Lisa and her husband currently live in Maryland, USA; and have four children...two dogs, and one cat.
