5.0 out of 5 stars The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread
Well, let me put it this way--I have bought the book twice, lent it out, and haven't been able to get it back either time! It is well-written, providing that missing link, so to speak, for much we--as gentiles--don't understand about Jewish tradition and the crucial matter of covenant. While there was a lot of good information in this book, there were also a fair number of speculative statements that were presented as fact. Much of the time the author did use the Bible to interpret itself to make his point, but other times he'd say, "And this symbolizes this..." without giving any proof that anyone but him thought this. It's basically an argument based...

It is well-written, providing that missing link, so to speak, for much we--as gentiles--don't understand about Jewish tradition and the crucial matter of covenant. 5.0 out of 5 stars Picture Puzzle, February 26, 2000
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
This is the most annointed book I have ever read. It helped me put the pieces together. I can see Jesus more clearly in the Old Testament and understand what he is saying to us in the New. Reading this book was like putting a jigsaw puzzle together and seeing the complete picture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for Christians and curious non-Christians!!!, May 26, 2001
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
If I would have read this book 10 years ago, I believe I would have been a Christian for 10 more years. Booker is a fantastic teacher, analyzing events in the Old Covenant [Testament] and how they forshadow and point to the New Covenant. This book explains the steps in the covenant, which so many people do not know about. I myself was one of those people. The book takes you through the old priestly customs and rituals and how they point to our High Priest, Jesus. It also answers questions like "Why couldn't anyone touch Jesus while he was ascending?" and "Why was Jesus called the Son of Man?" This book is an absolute must-have! Essential! Keep it with your Bible!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Blood of Jesus, February 6, 2001

This is an EXCELLENT book! This is an EXCELLENT book! This is an EXCELLENT book! Perhaps the best book I've read in several years. Richard so clearly explains the blood covenant & shows how this theme is woven thru the TaNaKh(Old Testament) and the B'riit cHadashah (New Covenant). Through Richard (& the Messianic movement, ...), the Ruach HaQodesh (Holy Spirit) is restoring understanding about the: (Blood) Covenants, the Feasts, the Tabernalce, the Temples, the Sacrifices, the Priests, ... In this way, the Spirit of Truth is drawing us closer to Yah thru Yeshua. The Father seeks those who will worship Him in Spirit and Truth; this book is a true blessing from God. I encourage you to read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A WONDERFUL christian education book, September 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
This book will help us Christians to understand why the Old Testament and the New Testament are so different, and the thread that binds them together. It is so full of "meat" you will want read it over and over again to learn new things each time. I HIGHLY recommend this book to ALL my friends, so they too can have a bit more knowledge of our Father's word.

5.0 out of 5 stars Prophecies in the O.T. come to life, May 28, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
Before I read this book, I had no knowledge of the Old Testament and had no real desire to study it. I had no idea of how the Old and New Testaments were interwoven. Now that I have read this book, I am finally able to understand the perfection of the whole Bible. I now see how everything that is in the Old Testament serves to point ahead to the fulfillment of its prophecies. Booker explains how Jesus is the perfect High- priest and the perfect tabernacle. He shows you how Jesus is the perfect Lamb of the Passover . This book will give you a better understanding of God's word- thus giving you a greater passion for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A nice work in an easily understood format, September 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
This is a great tool for explaining the complexities so often associated with the Old Testament and for revealing how they were so prophetic of the New Testament. A must read for anyone struggling to see the big picture of how the scriptures work together to create a seamless living word.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you want to know your covenant rights as a Christian...., October 11, 2003
This review is from: The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread (Paperback)
This is a must have book....A lot of us have heard the word covenant but we don't really understand want it really means to be in covenant with someone....

I took a class in our Ministry Training Institute that used this book as a text....and I have conscious ever since.....

I now know that I have covenant rights that I did not know of before and we only languish in our sins because we don't know our covenant rights in Christ.....

I would recommend this book highly if you want to know what a covenant truly is and we as Christian's fit into the Covenant picture....
