Book Description

October 1, 2007
When Frank Martin lost his wife Leah to a sudden illness, he was angry at the doctors and at life. His 8 year old daughter, Amanda, worried that her father would sink into another depression. Then one night, two weeks after her mother's death, Amanda had a vivid dream. A beautiful angel spoke to her about her father, her departed mother, and about life and death. The beautiful and lonely Linda Parker began to pursue Frank. His heart reached out to her, but he knew it was wrong: even though she was dead, his love was for Leah alone. Through his anger and sadness, Frank began to rely more and more on his daughter for emotional support. He noticed that the little girl began to say and do things no 8 year old could possibly know. Does wisdom only come with age? Is it possible to love again? Discover how the power of faith and love can inspire you and change your life. Kenneth J. M. MacLean is a spiritual author who has written eight books including the bestselling The Vibrational Universe. He has produced two films: The Unity of Spirit and Matter and The Law Of Attraction Explained. More About the Author

Kenneth J. M. MacLean has a B.A. in Political science and a B.S. in Computer Science. He is the author of 8 published books, and 10 eBooks, over 100 published articles, and three movies.

Ken has been studying science and metaphysics for decades, in an attempt to explain the untimely death of his mother from leukemia, when he was only 3 years old. Drawing on his writing and editing experience, Ken is also a professional book and manuscript editor. He is interested in geometry and has written a textbook describing important 3 dimensional solids called polyhedra.
Ken also has a radio show, called the Interview With Spirit show, which airs on Blog Talk Radio every Wednesday at 4PM Eastern. Ken talks about current events in the context of consciousness and spirituality, and where the human race is headed during this amazing period in human history.

Ken has not lived in an ivory tower. For 25 years he owned a contracting business in which he met people from all walks of life. From these experiences Ken learned how to relate to the poor and the rich, the uneducated and university professors, and people from different cultures and religions. Ken has learned that the common denominator of all human beings is a divine presence that transcends cultural and religious backgrounds. This understanding is reflected in all of his work.

Ken's favorite quote is from John Payne: "True love is empowering people to see their greater potential."

Ken has been happily married for 30 years to Jennifer, and lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with their 3 cats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miracles Can Happen, December 5, 2007

This review is from: Miracles Can Happen (Paperback)
I really enjoyed reading Ken Maclean's book, `Miracles Can Happen'.
It's a beautiful story of love. And of how wonderful life is when we cooperate with our true self, are true to others, and that there is help for us when we are true.

I am fortunate to have read Miracles Can Happen after having the experience of reading some of Ken's books on the subject of life and universal principles. And with Ken's knowledge and understanding of our universe, Miracles Can Happen is pointing out something's very obvious to our lives; while we are wrapped up in what will Frank do? Even still, if you have not read from Kenneth James Michael Maclean before, you are in for a treat. Ken is straight up. I like that.

Miracles Can Happen is a genuine, beautiful and dramatic story of Amanda an 8 year old girl and her father Frank whom are living with the death of their beloved Leah; Amanda's mother. As Amanda and Frank are dealing with their emotions and beliefs, together they discover that Leah's death is not the end. It is the sincerity and faith that Amanda is given from her angels that allows Amanda to guide her farther in to believing in what is wanted; showing us the way of the Law of Attraction.

Once I started reading, I didn't want to put it down, though had too to live out my day, so I took great pleasure in reading it in my spare time. The story unfolded in such a way that I did not see coming. My eyes did not wonder of the screen the entire train trip - you know what I mean.

While I have not reviewed a book before, I hope that I have been able to express enough that Miracles Can Happen is a great story.
