About the Author

A priest in the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia, Father Stefan Starzynski informally began his healing ministry on the day of his ordination. Widely known for his healing Masses, he is also a retreat leader and Cursillo chaplain. An advocate for the unborn, he is the founding member of the Paul Stefan Foundation, an organization that aids women in crisis pregnancies.

I started reading "Miracles: Healing for a Broken World" late one night and had a hard time putting it down to go to bed. Finished it in the wee hours of the morning. Truly inspirational, motivational, uplifting, comforting, and thought provoking...gives true meaning to the word "hope". The Lord has and continues to do his miraculous works for us and especially for those who are open and prayerfully look to Him for help, assistance, guidance and healing. I am blessed and so incredibly humbled to be one of the many people mentioned in this book. This book is a collection of true stories that show if you put your trust in God, good will come of all situations, even situations that seem absolutely devastating.

Placing my daughter for adoption at the age of 17 was the hardest and yet the best thing I have ever done in my life. Due to the judgement I faced during my pregnancy, I have been very guarded about publically sharing my experience until now. For so much of my life, I felt ashamed about being a pregnant teenager but this book has given me tremendous pride. I am proud that my faith and my love for my daughter became a catalyst for the Paul Stefan Homes for pregnant women in need of support. Stefan became one of God's vessels to transform my once personally crippling experience into something that will benefit other women, children, and families facing similiar situations.

This book will inspire many, of all backgrounds and religions, to grow in faith.

God Bless all those who assisted with putting this book together. I have no doubt this book will change many lives.
