Worth the import price tag - get it and start dancing!,

I'm giving this CD 5 stars from the perspective of a pretty serious PSB fan. The radio edit and 12 inch version are really good, the Lemon Jelly Remix is decent, but what the mix that I haven't stopped playing is the Eric Prydz Remix. It really grooves in a retro-style way (some of the best dance music I've heard in a long time), plus mixed with Neil Tennant's vocals, it is divine. The "We're the Pet Shop Boys" song is interesting and definitely is a nice track for my collection. The only song that I really didn't care for is Transparent. That is the one track where Neil's voice is heavily distorted "electronic style". That seemed to become very popular a few years back, and I think that several really good PSB tracks have been ruined by trying to distort the vocals. One other note - the disk is marked "copy protected", which I haven't ever seen before. The first time I put in my PC (to rip to my MP3 player) the CD wasn't recognized. Then I took it out, put it back in, and I was able to rip all the tracks with no problem. Anyway, if you are worried about being able to take this music with you in an MP3 player, that shouldn't be a problem. In summary, this is a great CD, although the price tag is hefty. You'll have several great new tracks to listen to ... tracks that will rank up there with my favorite PSB tracks. Great to hear the Boys producing top quality work. I highly recommend it for any true PSB fan.

It seems that the Pet Shop Boys just keep improving on their music -- age has not slowed them down. This is a throwback to their old style with heavy beats and catchy lyrics. I especially like the new single Miracles as well as the song "We're the Pet Shop Boys" -- its an interesting song with tidbits of past songs like "What Have I Done to Deserve This." Although this import is a bit expensive, PSB fans should not hesitate owning this.

A Terrific Single,

And even better considering the Tennant/Lowe partnership was in the latter part of its second decade at the time of this release. Miracles is, in its seven and twelve inch formats, a very touching love song with a sentimental lyric, a great melody and typically lush PSB instrumentation and production. It sways very gently. But it's the thunderous Eric Pryz remix ( exclusive here ) that really got me hooked and ultimately led to my purchase of this Japanese import. Seven-plus minutes of pure electro-house bliss.

I already had both UK cds of this FANTASTIC song, and the 12", though I've kept it sealed. Then I heard a snippet of the Prydz remix and WOW-d all the way to the pc to find out if it was on any cd. This is the Japanese import, don't complain about the price. Actually, it's very cheap for a Japanese import.
Anyway, it's totally worth every cent. The song is magical, the Prydz remix is like a musical orgasm, I can't imagine it ever being played in a club, I'd just die and go to heaven!

PSB can still work "Miracles",

I have mixed feelings about this single...the song "Miracles" is one of their best and is almost worth the price of the single. "We're the Pet Shop Boys" has a good beat, but, like the mixes and "Transparent," it gets boring after a while if you listen to it a lot. The only other song I find myself listening to a lot is the 12" version (labeled as the "extended mix" on the British and American releases), which is a very well done extended version.
"Miracles" is a good single, but I don't think it's worth the price that it is.

I was disappointed because I already had this under another name. There were only a couple new cuts.
