5.0 out of 5 stars Pranic Healing... Another Good Healing Method.
Miralces Through Pranic Healing by Choa Kok Sui is one of my favorite books. I am a reiki master, but love using different ways in which to use energy to heal others and myself. Reiki is a lot more simplier for those without skills in visualization while pranic healing is more specific and direct and takes a little more concentration.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Smart Make a Living out of the Fears of the Stupid

This book is garbage. It is written for those who are unable to accept the fact that we are not in complete control of our bodies. The book makes the ridiculous claim that one can heal by wishful thinking and ridiculous rituals. It offers no reasonable explanation why these rituals work; it simply states their powers as fact.

It is simply a manual...

5.0 out of 5 stars Pranic Healing... Another Good Healing Method., September 15, 2004
This review is from: Miracles through pranic healing (Hardcover)
Miralces Through Pranic Healing by Choa Kok Sui is one of my favorite books. I am a reiki master, but love using different ways in which to use energy to heal others and myself. Reiki is a lot more simplier for those without skills in visualization while pranic healing is more specific and direct and takes a little more concentration.

Choa Kok Sui's book is like a energy healers medical recipe book that covers the use of pranic healing on many dfifferent ailments and illnesses. In Choa Kok Sui book Advanced Pranic Healing he covers even more with detail descriptions on the healing process.

Reiki healers for the most part learn to channel energy through the crown chakra or the feet. In pranic healing one learns to use one hand chakra to pull in and one to project. Also an item not seen in reiki, disinfecting the area before sending healing energy. This book explains about removing diseased energy before actually doing any healing. It is believed that sending healing energy to diseased areas is not as favorable as sending energy to a cleaned area to speed up the healing process.

As a reiki master healer I keep an open mind in each and every book I read on this subject. To make the best of your talents and healing abilities I recommend this book two thumbs up!

I ordered for a used book and I saw in the description that the book was in excellent condition. However I never expected the book to be so neat and as good as new. It was thrilling. Thanks Amazon :)

The book makes the ridiculous claim that one can heal by wishful thinking and ridiculous rituals. It offers no reasonable explanation why these rituals work; it simply states their powers as fact.

It is simply a manual for the followers of Choa Kok Sui, who liked to be referred to as Master when alive, and now after his death is considered a deity by his followers.

If its authors thought the techniques worked, why is there a disclaimer in the book (in small type) that these techniques are only to be used as a supplement to real medicine; this from a book that claims its techniques are far superior to western medicine?
