Mirage Ms-Stb-B Stands For Nanosat & Nanosat Prestige Speakers (Pair)

I ordered two sets of these speaker stands for my front and rear Mirage Nanosat speakers in our family room. They arrived in absolute PRISTINE condition and were VERY well packaged. You couldn't damage these things in shipping if the UPS man dragged them down the street behind his truck! These stands are very easy to put together and they really look sharp and expensive. FAR FROM CHEAP LOOKING and that was very important to me (I will be posting photos shortly for their use here on this site). For those of you wondering how to mount the Nanosats to the top of the stand, it can be tricky if you did not save the parts that came with your Nanosat speakers when you bought them. When you bought your Nanosat speakers, you should have also received kits to be able to hang the speakers on a wall (it's a black "L" bracket with a keyhole to mount to wall). With that little kit, there was a flat-head black screw for each of your speakers that attaches the metal L bracket to the bottom of the Nanosat. THAT is the screw that you need to screw your speaker to the top of this stand! I should also mention that this speaker stand comes with two different pieces to screw on the top (for mounting your speaker). If you are mounting Nanosats, you want the "U" shaped is only about an inch wide. If you hold the piece underneath your speaker, you'll be able to better visualize how it is going to work. I've been waiting a while to pull the trigger on these and, to be honest, I was a little nervous based on reviews here saying that they were scratched up, etc. These two sets of stands that I received were in PERFECT condition and looking back I would pay twice as much for each stand if I had to. They were made for the Nanosats and there is not a better stand on the market for them. Thanks Mirage...YOU GUYS MAKE QUALITY STUFF THAT IS BUILT TO LAST!!!!

In the end these look nice, but I had to drill out the 1/4" tapped hold to make it a 1/4" through hole because my Nanosat speakers were already tapped. You can't securely mate a tapped hole to a tapped hole. Other than a few metal shards on my carpet, these units eventually worked well.

I really liked this speaker stand. It's very simple and is nice and sleek. My only complaint is that I can't snake the 16 ga speaker wire with the holes they provided. I think it would help if they provided a slot, covered by rubber or plastic. That would make installing any wire a breeze. Imagine never having to snake speaker wire through speaker stands ever again. Radical!!! Other then that, I love the product. I recommend it.

I just redid my entire home theatre, and bought 6 mirage nanosat speakers. These are the speakers stands I chose for them. They were not especially easy to put together, but once you figured out the first one, assembling the remaining speakers was not hard. They are as sturdy and heavy as you would hope; a slight brush against one will not knock it down, you need to hit it pretty hard. Note that these are sold in pairs. All in all a tad pricey perhaps, but they will do the job, and they look pretty good too.

The stands arrived in good condition, however, I do not know how to assemble my Nanosat Prestige speakers on top of the stands. No directions sent from Mirage with package. My speakers used to hang on the wall and we moved. I am not technical, but I should be able to follow written directions for placement in our new home.

Item was not brand new as it was advertised on Amazon.
Speaker stands were scratched in several places.
I only kept the stands because I could not find the model anywhere else.
I am disappointed that Amazon would sell items as new when they clearly were not.
