This review is from: Mirage OMNISAT V2 PB 2-Way Platinum Black Omnisat v2 Series Satellite Speaker (Electronics)
These speakers are being used with a Mirage S-10 powered LFE speaker in a 6.1 system. It sounds great in my average sized living room. Even in stereo mode, these speakers create a wider soundstage than non-reflective speakers. Of course, not as much as in 6.1 mode, but definitely noticable. The system is powered by an Onkyo TX-SR606 AV receiver. When being used for music in stereo mode, the sheer volume is limited by the physical size of the speakers. If your main interest is music and you are not willing to compromise, larger speakers are probably in order. If you are looking for a theater system and can give up some music capability, I think these are hard to beat. The 10" LFE speaker is a little overkill, but you've gotta love it when the house shakes during the explosion or impending doom scenes.
