Mirage Os3-Cc Premium Omnipolar 3Way Center-Channel Speaker

Heard this center channel at Ultimate....was blown away by the sound. I really did not want to spend this much for a center speaker, but ponied up because the others I heard priced below this just could not match this unit. No deals on price (at the time I purchased), but saved with free shipping and no sales tax......works for me.

Picked this up after I bought a pair of the Os3 Sats so I'd have a matching set. Sound is great, smaller speaker which weighs a lot less than the Polk it replaced.
This one took me a few tried to get it positioned correctly as I tried it below the TV, at TV level and finally above the TV, which sounds the best for my room size.
Mounting was a breeze, the back of the unit has a channel groove for mounting so I went to Home Depot and bought a pair of drywall hook style hangers. Supposedly a mounting bracket can be ordered for this speaker but I didn't go that route.
Back to the sound:
Very good highs, not muddied like my old Polk CC. Bass response is surprisingly strong for such a small speaker. Looks nice. What else is there to say? I'm happy with this purchase!

Relevant system parts: Denon 1911, MX 5.1 speakers (surrounds), OS3-Sat (for front), OC3-CC in a room that is approx 16x14x8
I purchased the CC after installing the MX system because it was lacking a strong center channel. The voices sounded a bit thin so this seemed like a good choice (which it was). I am impressed on how well the CC performs, the voices and sounds generated from that channel are considerably more clear and audible over the MX (as you would expect).
The OS3 sats are a perfect match and to my satisfaction a match with the MX's as well.
Tonal quality is excellent making dialogue that much easier to understand.
I took off a star from the fit and finish and some of the corners they cut. My largest complaint was the permanently attached rubber stand at the bottom. If you were going to set this CC on a table or something it would be fine but since I am wall mounting it looked unsightly. I did remove it and spent considerable time removing the glue the chunk of rubber was attached to. Finally the binding posts are advertised as premium but are far from it. They work fine but I was a bit shocked they made it a point to call them premium binding posts.

Pro:
- Great sound and performance for a CC
- Well matched with other mirage speakers (OS3- sats & MX's)
- small footprint

Cons:
- build quality left some to be desired
- permanent foot on bottom of speaker that is not designed to be removed

This is an incredible center channel for any entertainment center. Has one 3" mid under the tweeter and two 4 1/2" woofers. Throughly impressed with this speaker's sound quality and the fact that it looks great doesn't hurt either.
