I use the Nanosats in my 7.1 home theater system. I've had surround sound before, but always felt that I could hear the sound coming from the speaker and not really as a sound happening as part of the movie (or video game). In other words, my attention would usually get focused on the sound as it came from the speakers, not just as something in the area around me. I did some research and read a lot about di/bipolar surrounds. Then I came across some reviews describing omnipolar technology. These speakers send sound in all directions (more in the front than anywhere else). It creates an atmosphere of sound around the listener. After reading some good reviews that described this, I said, "that's exactly what I want!" I don't want to hear the sound as distinctly coming from that speaker over there. I want to be in the movie, in the sound. Surrounded, not just from four distinct points, but actually surrounded. So I decided to try the nanosats. I bought the set of 5 and I use 4 of them as my surround and rear surround speakers. I am truly impressed! We've watched several movies with them on and each time I get lost in the movie. It's pretty incredible. It really does create a field of sound throughout the room. It is as if I'm surrounded by the sound. I would highly recommend these for anyone who watches a lot of movies! I haven't had the chance to listen to a lot of music, but what I have listened to so far, I have enjoyed.

Great sound. I was a firm Bose man, I've owned the bose 301's, Outdoor, 151's, Center channel and the Double cubes. After replacing my bose double cubes with this package I'll never go back. The sound quality is fantastic and they come with wall mounts. The bose cube mounts cost over $20 a piece. You won't be dissapointed. Save your money.

If you like to waste money on inferior sound and looks, buy Bose. If you care about the audio quality and appearance more than you do brand name (Mirage is a high end maker btw), then go with these. I bought these and haven't looked back. I took the extra money I saved with these and bought a very high end subwoofer to compliment the speakers and the sound is simply amazing.

I had a Bose Accustimass (spelling?) system for years and replaced it with these. I LOVE THEM! The sound is crisp and you can't tell the direction its coming from. They are solid built and easy to mount. I couldn't be happier! I bought 7 for 7.1 but currently have only 5 hooked up. I'm not using thier sub though; bought a bigger one. Excellent buy....

After a lot of research between bose, Mirage, Definitive technologies, Klipsh (all small speakers), I bought these. Amazon has the best price for these speakers. I assembled my system by buying 5 of these (as a set), then a Polk subwoofer. I use them with my Pioneer Receiver. I have attached my 52inch Samsung TV, Samsung Blu Ray player and a desktop to the receiver. Speakers are awesome. I have a Bose Lifestyle system in my game room. Compared to that, the above system is providing me with far superior sound. Also, I came way under my budget for not buying bose. I'm happy with the sound quality. Just make sure you have good subwoofer!
