Editorial Reviews

BECOMING JANE
When the dashing Tom Lefroy (James McAvoy) enters Jane's (Anne Hathaway) life, he offends the emerging writer's sense and sensibility. Soon their clashing egos set off sparks that ignite a passionate romance.

JANE EYRE
Jane Eyre's will to overcome a life of hardship leads her into a passionate romance with a handsome, yet mysterious, gentleman. Swept up in the possibility of a happy new life, Jane is shattered when terrible secrets from his past are revealed...threatening to tear her and her lover apart forever.

BASQUIAT
Jean-Michel Basquiat (Jeffrey Wright) was just an antisocial street bum writing graffiti on alley walls before he became part of Andy Warhol's (David Bowie) eccentric art scene. Soon, the talented tagger became a widely praised figure in the New York City art world. As in many cases though, fame came at a high price, and Basquiat's rapid progression from cardboard boxes to penthouse was also accompanied by the loss of friendship, love and eventually, his life.

ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON'S ST. IVES
When a French captain is taken to a prisoner of war camp in Scotland during the Napoleonic Wars, he falls in love with a beautiful local woman, befriends the prison camp's British major and discovers his long-lost grandfather living just down the road.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a chick movie combo! April 9, 2013

Liked the Jane Eyre movies, Basquiat was a little confusing, and St Ives is a light harded comical movie. This one is great for a raining day.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was allright. May 20, 2013

Becoming Jane was worth it, but the others were a bit of an old story. The other movies were filmed like back in the 80's so I wasn't too thrilled.
