Maria Conchita sounds Great in This Cd...,

The 80's have been a decade with a lot of "Great-Productions" in Latin Pop History...I Think Maria Conchita Alonso is one of those women who were always ahead of their time. It's easy to find these days any other female singers doing what she had done more than twenty years ago...I mean, writing, singing, producing, acting...Since her first albums with "Ambar" in the late 70's; and her self tittle debut in 1984, she has proved what a female latin pop singer can do. Just Take a Look to her videos "Noche de Copas", "La Loca", "Acariciame", "O Ella O Yo"...etc...She was 30 when "Mirame", her third solo album was released in 1987, and it's an excellent way to understand She had "guts" to "drive" her music into a new direction...It's not easy "To Rate" an Album...I Know sometimes It's just "A Matter Of Taste".....

The multitalented actress is also a fabulous Latina singer. Her vocals are passionate and sizzling and they are married to equally sizzling production values like guittar riffs and hot sax solos remindful of the Discoteque era. After you hear her sing you will in fact be looking for a Discoteque. Ole!
